Kraig Schaffer in Ohio has some very good large Barreds.He sells eggs. Has an ad in Poultry Press and on some auctionsites. Steve Stanish in Pa. also has some good ones. If you want more contact info PM me. I believe that both of the lines have not had White Rock bred in to them. According to Kraig his are a cross of Ruth Whitney and mine. Steve Stanish is an old line from here in Pa.

Im Loving the pictures
I wish I could mix them in with mine, they have an extra barring gene which gives them the ringlet look.
They look really big which is how they should be.

I have noticed most roosters have poor flight feathers, is this common with the American strains?
