Thanks Call Ducks....I have 3 CR hens that are close to laying and 18 younger birds that range from 10-14 weeks old. I am really looking forward to raising these. I have been looking for them for over a year

Very nice chickens all. I shall get some new pics uploaded to BYC soon. Right now just waiting on new chicks to grow up. I will be culling out all non yellow legs this year. Also any long moulters. That gets rid of 5 of mine I think. I still have one broody who just will not stop. She would not except chicks but she will take eggs so I will get her some. Either that or its the water dunk to break her of the broodiness.

I understand Barred Rocks should have yellow legs. Please look at these pictures, and tell me if this color is wrong.

Kathy, the leg color doesnt seem good on them. Give them a bit more time, but they should be yellower than that.

Kelly, they're coming along nicely! What do you have left for SPPRs? I hope you didn't lose all your cockerels....
