I think I like him too. his barring is very different from his sire. not terrible....just different.
I don't keep blue barred roos. I only keep blue barred pullets. I don't want splash barred rocks really.
He's barred(V-eed) like Dominique males. I have a male that was like that from the get go but he is more white mostly every where now, he is an older one at 5 he is a Ideal hatchery product. Made for great layers, he sired

I just got a better.picture I can't post from my phone rhough. he seemed v-ed in his hackles not so much through his body. maybe if I cross him back to GSBR pullets it will improve the barring. has not been a big deal to me with the blues as just getting the barring to show up is hard enough lol.
The eggs are packaged very well and look to be in great shape. I am very thankful for the extra eggs that Danny sent and look forward to doing more business with him in the future.
