Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac WHATEVER YOU CALL IT! Please read!

Ok last thurday went to put up a tree stand... Couple days later my father and I ended up with somekind of rash on our arms. Over the weekend it has spread from a little bit on my fathers arm and it started as a circle of blisters on my arm. It is spreading up my arm and is now on my inner wrist.

One thing to add is I never get poison Ivy anymore. The Ivy med my father has used isn't working for either of us. WHATTHE HECK IS GOING ON!? Anyone got anything to add?

Also We would love love LOVE to have a cure for this!

Calamine lotion and Aveeno bath.

You may have to get a steroid shot in the butt.....

Use deodorant to dry out the blisters and take some benadryl to help with the itching and irritation.

There isn't much of a cure for it except time. Wash with a detergent to get the oils off and keep it from spreading. Use lotions such as Calamine to dry up the oozing and keep it from itching. Don't scratch at it. It just has to heal. Give it a couple weeks.

At the grocery store. Or Rite Aid, or CVS or Target or Walmart.... Calamine lotion is pink. Aveeno comes in a beige bottle with green writing. Do not ask me how I know.

The odd thing is ,is it doesn't itch

I've been washing it with the grease cutting dish detergent. Even rubbing alcohol isn't working

Make sure to wash your clothes, jacket, boots, etc. You may be picking up the oil from your jacket or something and continuing to break out because of it.
