I just love that idea! Now I want some polish hens. But I’ve heard they get picked on a bit by other hens and I wouldn’t want that to happen so I guess I’m waiting lol

Ya know, a lot of people say a lot of things . I have polish mixed with breeds of all types and they never get picked on. Mind you, my birds free range in a 5 acre lot so

Assil hens? Ah shucks, mine probably get picked on a few times, but it never gets too excessive. Maybe once a day

I currently have two 2 week old bantam polish chicks...they are a riot to watch. I can't wait until they grow up!

I also have 3 stupid broody silkies who help us get an average of ZERO eggs per week. They make up 75% of my flock. Yes, our poor d'Uccle is all alone and I think she is depressed
