Polish Flock Crest Pecking

I need help asap. They randomly started pecking my boy at 3.5 months old. I put blue ointment on his head. Now all 3 of my girls are pecking eachothers head and ripping crest out. I don't want them to kill eachother. I don't know what to do. I love my babies. My silkie girls are completely fine. Not participating in any of this or getting pecked.

Get some Blu-Kote and spray that on the wounds to prevent pecking, watch their eyes though. You might want to try Pinless Peepers on them. You also could watch them and spray them with water from a spray bottle.

They are doing so so so much better. I put the blue stuff and ointment on their heads. Trimmed around their eyes. Gave them some hay and treats and things to play with and gave them more protein to cover all bases and they haven't been pecking eachother anymore. My 2 silkies who weren't part of the pecking also laid their first 2 eggs yesterday. So I just think everyone was having an off week.

I always had good luck with using BluKote on my Polish pullets with this problem. It would occur a couple of times a year. When starting the BluKote early enough, it did not progress further.
