Hi all,
I have a White Crested Polish Hen who's about 4 months old (she's a rescue, so I don't know too much about her).
She's got a bad case of runny eyes. They don't appear particularly puffy or red, but they're definitely goopy, and half-closed.
I have her isolated in a brooder box, on puppy pads so there's no bedding dust to irritate them. I trimmed the feathers away from her eyes, cleaned them up with warm water, and started her on Sulmet (the only antibiotic I have on hand).
Has anyone had good experience with Sulmet clearing this up, or should I put her on something else?
Thanks in advance for any help!
