Polish sexing (Iformation and tips)

I know this is an old thread but I have a question. With male bearded polish chicks, are the crest feathers always pointed at the ends or can they have rounded ends but be in a more general slicked back shape? I ask because I have three polish I'm trying to sex at 12 weeks. They all have very big full crests with rounded ended feathers, BUT one of them has a crest that is starting to look longer at the back and slightly more slicked back from its face/not fully covering the eyes.

Next to the Silkie I would say Polands are one of the hardest chickens to sex frizzled and bearded are harder to sex one good clue is the crest
Male creste crest is like a fountain the crest feathers are more pointy than the hens



Female crest:more like an afro crest feathers are more rounded




Do you see the difference


if you want to know the sex of your frizzled Polishes all you have to do is look for wattle development or crowing or an egg


Bearded Polish are a little tricky they really don't wattles I'd suggest use the crest method

any questions on your Polishes gender I will solve

So when I came home from work today I did my normal hang out with the chicks but this time I looked at all of my birds feathering I read this post while I was out with them. I think I may have it down. Maybe lol. So here is 2 pics hopefully u can tell from these pics. This one I think girl
