GL male x SL female gives sex-linked offspring. The female chicks will look like gold laced polish (and are) and the males will look similar to Silver Laced Polish, but will grow up a yellow colored bird w/black lacing.

Otherwise, SL male x GL female = The same type of male you get from the sex-linked breeding but SL females.

If you breed a gold Laced Rooster to a silver hen you get sexlined chicks.

All roosters will look like silver laced chickens when they hatch & all pullets will look gold laced.

When they are fully mature the hens will be gold laced & are good for breeding, back to a pure gold laced rooster.

the roosters won't be pure looking in color, they will look mixed / silver & gold.

they roosters will look SL laced with streaks of gold laced feather through out the body.

Would GL to any other color be sex linked?

If you have a blue or white crested blue hen you KNOW has only the silver gene, there's an option. Another option is a White Crested Cuckoo. And beyond that of course is Silver Laced.
