His batch of eggs was my first time ever incubating eggs! It was so fun, but I have an egg that is on day 23 and is trying to hatch for a while now anybody know what is the problem?

I had some silkie eggs last year that I was about to toss since they'd been there for longer than 21 days. One day I came home from work and all three had hatched!

The chick has pipped and can't get out. The other 5 took no longer than 15 minutes to 1 hour. I am worried it may not get out of the egg.

any update? ive seen videos and helped chix a little bit but helping is a mixed bag because being out of the incubator dries them out.

It just hatched a few minutes ago it looks healthy it just took a little longer. I ended up helping a little but it did the rest.

I would’ve given advice but I’ve never hatched eggs before...
