Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Cruella. What a girly girl.

Quick question about my (possible) golden polish chick. This baby (top left by the waterer) was a freebie from my order of 21 chicks through McMurray Hatchery that we received 6 days ago. Everyone is doing great including this little polish but I am concerned about its activity level. While everyone else is running around the brooder, our little polish just sits under the heat lamp or sleeps most of the time. I see it eat and drink but then its back to sitting under the lamp. Is this normal behavior for a polish chick? I have the heat lamp registering 95 degrees directly below it where the little polish has taken up residency. The rest of the chicks are all heavy breeds so I don't expect them to hang out right under the lamp. This little chick is definitely a "loner" and not very social with the other birds. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Again, it seems healthy...just tired?
I am not sure if that is normal, but the group of buff polish I got from McMurray are/were doing the same thing. I separated them out into their own brooder and they still sleep 2X as much as the other chicks. They are eating and healthy, they just sleep a lot and seem to be feathering in much slower. They are four weeks old now and no huge change in behavior. They are also a ton more skittish.

I have two three-weeks old Polish and the smaller of the two sleeps a lot, he loves to just stay under the lamp. I have worried about him for weeks now, but he keeps on keeping on. He has plenty of room to get out from under the light if he prefers, but he stays there pretty much. He will come out and eat and drink, and then heads back for a nap. The larger one (who is probably a few days older) is more active. Good luck. I am hoping that this little boy/girl lives, it has been my favorite since I received them. In this picture Smarty, as I call the chick, was spreading its wings. The Golden Laced Polish, the other is a Splash Polish.

Ever seen a white crested black polish so dark???? We've only been messing them for just under a year, so for us it's a first and we have no idea if it's common...

I understand what they should look like, I have about 50 of them here! This one is very unusual, to us...Here are better pics and yes, we're sure it's a polish, no chance of sneaky other bird getting in there...
