Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Educate me please!  What is the difference between a Black Crested Polish and Owlbeards?  Or is it just a different name for the same bird?  BTW ~ all your Polish are gorgeous!

Thank you! I've never heard of owlbeard, but after looking them up, the difference looks like the crest for the most part! Other than that, dunno!

My two polish pullets. I was supposed to get white crested blacks with them as well but the hatchery didn't bave them in unfortunately. Any idea when I can expect them to start laying?

Here are a few more pics... he/she is about 2 months old now, and getting in some new looking feathers on his head... I know NOTHING about crested chickens or polish.
Does it look like a silver laced polish? Please say hen. hahaha!

i am guessing that because there is no wattle development yet, no saddle feathers, (from what i can see) and female looking head crest. here are some pics of a roo of mine when he was around that age.

Thank you!! That helps so much! Hope he's a her. Lol. We have a mix of oddball breeds for fun in the yard. I was hoping to keep this one. Are your polish bossy? She runs the 6 little chicks of that age group. (Why I was suspicious of sex)

I wish we could upload short videos...I'd love to see his crow.
I videoed my 2 Ameraucana roosters during their first crows. It's hilarious. (And exciting!)
