Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prize rooster.
Gorgeous I have a problem. My polish were laying when they were shipped a month ago. My silver polish stopped laying, they were fertilized. But my wc polish lay 5 a week yet they are not fertilized. My wc roo is not doing his thing. How do I motivate them so I can get some babies?

If you aren't providing extra light to lengthen the day do so. It just doesn't affect the hens but also impacts the rooster's fertility. Also if their butts are too fluffy the feathers may be getting in the way and they need a trim.

They are getting heat lamps when the sun goes down because weather. But I haven't seen them mate.
I also have my juvenile feathers falling on the top of their heads. Can that be the older male hurting them or is that normal for a 4-5 month old.

I heard that sometimes the reason that polish roosters don't breed/stop breeding, is because they can't see the hens around the their crest lol. I've heard of polish breeders clipping the crest back of their roosters so that they can find the ladies. This may not be the problem, but it's worth considering

Hello all. I have a pair of tolbunt polish that are 10 months old. I'm debating on selling the pair and wanted to see if any of you are interested. The hen is laying. Here are some pictures. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

That breed of of Polish almost looks like a cross between a Russian Orloff, and a white polish lol.

I've got a full house, but I love the Tolbunt coloring. Such pretty birds!

I don't find that very funny...bought from fellow BYC breeder of tolbunts and other show birds. Any other intelligent input?
I'm very sorry if that sounded like I was doubting the legitimacy of the breed.

I know very well that the Tolbunt Polish is a rare, and real breed of chicken, which I think are very beautiful!! I just thought that color pattern was a little Russian Orloffy, (was trying too be funny, but I'm dumb that way). Just like some people may say A Cuckoo Maran looks sort of like a Plymouth Rock.
Again, sorry if that was offensive
