She is adorable! They all 3 are, but I've never seen a pic of a Tolbunt before, and I am so in love with her calico coloration!!

Where can I find Tolbunts?
OHHHhhh but the 1% that aren't can be the very definition of a Roosifer!!! I got 2 mottled houdan cockeresl in a mix one time...OMG they were both EVIL!!! They would hide from you till you got past them and then...WHAMO! Big bleeding hole it the leg.![]()
The only roo I ever had was a wonderful bantam Silkie and he was sweeter than his sister - unfortunately we can't keep roos and he was re-homed![]()
Roos will be aggressive during mating season or if they think you are getting too near THEIR hens. Those who have evil roos usually don't use them for breeding stock and they make it to the freezer. We aren't allowed roos so I haven't had any experience with any breed other than the one sweet Silkie roo.
A couple more footed or crested breeds with sweetness genes are the Cochins and Sultans.
actaully, we have never had a rooster get more aggressive towards us during breeding season. Our wcb is just always mean around his girls.
I think its actually known that the more protective roosters breed better than calm ones.
