And Democrats just make more after they get in office. Look at Obama and how much he was worth when he was elected or Nancy Pelosi and many other Democrats.

Rich people have political power. This is not news. It doesn't matter the party, the belief system, or the type of government. Obama's net worth may have increased but he was already rich before. You basically have to be. I seriously doubt any rebulicans net worth is decreasing. Can you provide more sources?

This makes wealth distribution all the more topical. It is not just a matter of dollars earned, it is about a lot of even more problematic issues.

I actually learned that Obama only made around 180k before becoming a congressman. His wife on the other hand made close to 500k.

I am not sure where you are getting your info. I have found multi sources that list is net worth in 2007 as 1.7 million and that the major source of his increase in worth is book royalties.
