War on drugs funds a lot of things. Work in south/central america for half a decade and it would open ones eyes to many things and media lies.

He's one of these guys that jump on every band wagon coming down the street. He claims to have evidence but never shows any. Do you really think that the government can keep anything that had to involve that many people a secret ?

Disclaimer: I do NOT buy the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

That said, the government is more than capable of covering huge operations up. Case in point: Manhattan Project. If it were 1945 and I told you the government was developing a super weapon that could obliterate an entire city and render the area uninhabitable for years in a secret project in the Nevada Desert, you'd have thought I was nuts. If I then told you that this project involved nearly every major corporation, you'd laugh at me.

This is simply to say that, while it's outrageously stupid to jump to the conclusion of OMIGOSHCONSPIRACY, it's equally stupid to write it off immediately as impossible.

Well there were over 100,000 people that worked on the Manhattan project. Now a lot of them didn't know exactly what they were building, many of them did know and more figured it out. But do you think the Government could have dropped the bomb on Detroit and kept it secret for long ? To think they could get people to kill thousands of people and then keep it secret when not fighting a war is kind of silly.

Of course. I'm simply stating that the government is capable. I wrote off the 9/11 stuff long ago for other reasons, mainly that none of the conspiracies make sense while the much-maligned official story actually does fit the facts.
