poll: are you legal or an outlaw?

semi legal - ordinance in city says no livestock but the most recent interpretation says a few "Pet" chickens are tolerable if no neighbor complains. all my roos have had to find new homes I have 3 pullets left

The way *I* interpret the law I say legal...but my neighbor (the one building my run) said he called for his own info and they told him no chickens. BUT you can have Easter chicks. WTH? Do they not know an Easter chick goes up into a chicken? So my answer is yes I am legal! I am going to lie and say I got all 7 of my chickens on Easter!

Illegal. I live in the middle of the woods, but have to personally own 10 acres to have any "livestock". What do the big signs at the beginning of the township "right to farm" really mean then....
Critters are contained, fairly quiet, and kept clean so no smellies;)

Well lets see, I live in a town, but a country town, farm house, next door neighbor has horses and chickens i can hear roosters all around my neighborhood(besides mine)hehehe, Soooooo i think i am legal.

Assuming I'm legal. House the next street over has over 50 hens and roos. Other people in town have them. I use the word town but we aren't a city or township. We have no mayor, or city council. I couldn't find any laws against it. We are zoned for horses so I assume we're legal. No one's complaining.
