This is just a poll as I am curious.

I do not want an argument here.

Fermented feed seems to be like "religion" something we should best not try to convert or change others minds on it.

I am just trying to figure approximately what percentage use it. ( I know this is a very unscientific poll)

Do not try to change anyone's mind on this poll, just answer the question and move on,

Thanks

( note I did not say if I use it or not as I do not want to influence the replies)

When they have been soaking for 2-3 days I pour them into a bucket with holes and rinse 3 times a day and they sprout in about 2 days. I don't use acv for fermenting just non chlorinated water it takes a bit longer to get started. I don't ferment the crumble only the scratch it is less expensive and once it is fermented and sprouted it is nutritional. This is my first time having chickens they are 4 months old and should be laying soon

I love polls!

Yes
I ferment my feed
most of the time but All of the time for new chicks or if one of my hens looks like she is having a bad day. My ladies look better when I ferment but at times I think it smells and is attracting fruit flies YUCK! but I always start a new batch within 6 weeks time I notice a difference. not sick just different.
