Cheese!?!?

I dont like it like that. I like whipped cream on mine. But my father has always loved a slice of American cheese melted on top. Personally, good pie...truly good pie...requires nothing on top to improve it

That sounds nasty!! I’ve had cheese and apples or grapes etc. before but never heard of putting cheese in the pie! I think that would ruin it lol I prefer to keep my desserts and cheese separate lol

Its the perfect combination of sweet and savory. I personally like to keep those flavors seperate but to each their own

What kinda crust does she do? I prefer an overlapping strip crust. Never liked the dutch crumble but wont turn down a whole crust

That sounds interesting lol I much prefer some vanilla ice cream on top to either of those. though I agree it doesn’t need it!! Just much better lol
