**POLL** For those who have incubated chicken eggs **POLL**

*What temp do you prefer to run your bator at? (Please specify still air or forced air)
99.5-100 (forced air)

*Do you use a turner, hand turn (how many times a day) or not turn at all?
hand turn 4-5 times/day, always 'sleeping' on a different side

*What humidity to you keep it at from day 1-18? (Please, no wet bulb readings, unless noted as such) 40-50%

*What humidity do you use during the hatch? 65-75%

*What is your hatch rate? (Please specify if these were shipped eggs) Do not include loose air cells, scrambled yolks etc... only concerned with eggs that began to develop. 66% local, 100% shipped (only 2 were shipped)

And any notes you'd like to add.
I got 12 EE eggs, 1 Gold Comet, and one Polish from a guy locally, 2 EEs weren't fertile - the Gold Comet and one EE died after partially zipping, the Polish and another EE developed, but quit late (around day 15-16)... the two that were shipped across the country from CA to NC both made it!

Turner

65-70%

70-75%

Shipped eggs and 88% of developing eggs hatched.... if I go by the total number of eggs purchased to the number that actually hatched my percentages were 50%.

I live in a high altitude, dry climate.
