POLL: How much do you pay for a 50# bag of feed???

Bringing this up to the top again for one reason. My feeds all of them are up 75 cents to 2 bucks a bag and hay, good grief 6.50 plus tax on to at the feed store. Ekkk

I pay $8.29 for a 50# bag in Iowa. There are cheaper brands around here but nothing nearly this good. They don't waste food anymore! No billing - (scooping out the food on the ground). It's a small pellet, which birds love.

It's from Hubbard Feeds and it's called Premium 18% Layer/Breeder with Primalac.

No I don't work with Hubbard, and I found this food through research.
 
Just yesterday I paid 12.25 for 50# bag of 16% layer mini pellets and 10.25 for 50# bag of scratch for their treats. We are up in Northern CA
 
clevland laying mash 50# bag 11.75 from the feed mill. and from the farmer up the road who grinds his own 6.50 for a 50# bag. campobello south carolina.

Wow, Orschelen has layer feed on sale for $5.99 for a forty pound bag, making it $7.48 per 50 lbs. Always looking for ways to minimize costs, I went long on this...hope the mice don't find out.

:mad:My feed store changed layer feed,i used to feed MFM, paid around 10$/50lb,now they sell lake countrys honor country flock layer,10.75/50lb, after i changed feeds my egg production went down half..dont know if its the feed or fall.

anyone know about this feed??
