POLL: How much do you pay for a 50# bag of feed???

I was thinking -

20 yrs ago when I first got into chickens scratch feed was under $4 (something like $3.65 I think) for a #50 bag. Inflation sucks!!

Inflation does suck! But those eggs sure do taste good

oops...I just paid $50 for a 50lb. bag of organic feed yesterday. I had to order it online (McMurray) because nowhere near me sells it! I wanted to mix my own but am having a hard time finding all of the ingredients to do so!

$8 for 50lbs Blue Seal layer pellets and $15 for 50lbs the organic layer pellets.
One the few things I love about Maine, it's basically either farm or forest. I get hay for 2.25 a bale, 1.50 if I get it from the field.

I just paid 12.39 + tax for 18% layer crumbles..50lb bag. It is made by IFA ( intermountain farmers ass.). the only down side is that we cant get it locally, we have to go to Vegas for it about 70 Mi. But the wife still works in Vegas and drives right by the place daily.
