Your palette really changes when you do a diet overhaul. 7 years ago I started intermittent fasting and cut bread, pasta, rice and as much overprocessed stuff as I could. Then I started power lifting, and my diet changed again, much more refined. .8g protein per pound of body weight daily. It equates to essentially 3/4 of a whole rotisserie chicken and however many fresh vegetables I can stuff in after that. Preworkout half a banana. Little room for much else for a 124 pound woman. After 4 years of this I tried a "high test" mountain dew and I had to spit it in the drain. Tastes like concentrated sugar syrup squeezed from an alien worm ass.Ever since I started eating healthier I crave things like chicken and vegetables instead of sugar. I can't believe I used to put crap in my body on a regular basis.
