Ever since I started eating healthier I crave things like chicken and vegetables instead of sugar. I can't believe I used to put crap in my body on a regular basis.
Your palette really changes when you do a diet overhaul. 7 years ago I started intermittent fasting and cut bread, pasta, rice and as much overprocessed stuff as I could. Then I started power lifting, and my diet changed again, much more refined. .8g protein per pound of body weight daily. It equates to essentially 3/4 of a whole rotisserie chicken and however many fresh vegetables I can stuff in after that. Preworkout half a banana. Little room for much else for a 124 pound woman. After 4 years of this I tried a "high test" mountain dew and I had to spit it in the drain. Tastes like concentrated sugar syrup squeezed from an alien worm ass.

but yes, for the first week you will go through withdrawls from the sugar and crap you been eating. After you get yourself weaned off you'll eat a lot better and keep the weight off.

I was able to drop several meds by eating better and losing almost 40 pounds now. Dropped the HZTZ, Dropped the Amlodipine, Dropped the Crestor, I feel I can probably get rid of the lisinopril too. and avoided diabetes meds too. Yes it worked for me.

Here's another tip.
You want to spend 1000's of dollars on weight machines, riding bikes, step crawlers, exercise this and that, go right ahead. Me, 200 dollars on a push mower, got my fat ass out there pushing that SOB around the yard, now THAT will cut the pounds off of you AND you get plenty of mulch to grow the yummy stuff you will soon need to be eating!

I have EXTREME asthma. Like, I'm on hydroxyzine, singulair, advair, duoneb and have a rescue inhaler in two rooms of my house, my car, and my bench at work. Cardio is HARD for me. Lifting was my answer to my bogus windbags. I, in fact, have a full rack, bench, olympic weight set and a whole free weight set with a deadlift platform in my house. Worth.
