I get monster slugs and the Princesses won’t even look at them!

With a snail, the shell provides a crunch to contrast beautifully with the squishiness of the inner slug. A plain slug doesn't give the same gastronomic joy. Chickens have high standards!

oh it's so disgusting when they get one and stab it and all the juice flies all around and then they have a tug of war with it. blerg. then they hammer the shell to break it up in the ground but they both want it so it's a fight. i go over and step on the shell to break it up. both the shell and the fight.

there seems to be just two here. unless i keep seeing different ones. ha!
but they just lurk around. i don't know what they want.
this was just this past summer. he sat there so long, i thought something was wrong with him. he completely ignored the chickens when they walked past. eventually he just flew away.
