I mean there's no reason you couldn't also do that with them...when i first saw it said foam shrimps, i thought maybe they were little nerf type shrimps that you can throw at people when they're not looking.![]()
The bird flu disappears in spring. You might just as well wait until autumn to build something.fox again last night.
he's big!
he's not lingering around the chicken area.
i don't know what he wants. i think he passes through from one field to the other.
a few nights ago, he was here, and i sent the husband out to scare him off.
he just ran straight towards the fox.
the fox stood there for a second like "huh?" but the husband kept going at top speed and the fox ran off.
he did the same again last night.
i think if he keeps doing that, the fox is going to bite him.

this morning i asked if he meant it when he said we would build a proper flu fort. otherwise, i am going to put the hwc on the gazebo.
he said he's off next weekend.
he hates my shanty town flu fort.
me too! but i don't want to wait until autumn. i want to be able to give them more room if they have to be in for awhile. then i can close up the regular run at night. but i can't leave them in the flu fort when i'm not right there. and if i'm right there, i might as well let them out out.The bird flu disappears in spring. A cheeky fox is another thing. I am more afraid of foxes for my chickens than of them getting bird flu.
Good description. I have had the shrimps and the banana kind but was struggling to put it into words.Do you know the banana flavour sweets that are yellow and banana-shaped, and soft but not gummy like haribo? The shrimp "foam" is like those.
It's kind of like the non-licorice bits of dolly mix but slightly softer.
More chewy and rubbery than the white part of liquorice allsorts.Kind of in between a firm marshmallow and the white bit on some haribo. Apparently I was thinking of liquorice allsorts, not dolly mix, but I think both of those have the fondanty type sweets. Similar to those too. Sometimes very slightly... grainy..? isn't exactly right but I can't think of a better one, but not in a bad way.
