You can carefully trim the fuzz if you want and put vaseline or mineral oil on their bums.

The store i got my chicks from the batch after mines like 10 or 11 died so they probably had a disease????

Are yours okay? If they are and you want to make sure yours are okay, you can have a blood test done on a chick. Our vet does them very cheaply.

The Probios powder and a touch of ACV combo has worked wonders here!

I went to our True Value store, and wound up leaving with 10 more chicks - 4 Ameraucana, and 6 mixed lighter-colored chicks (what looked to be buff Orps and Golden Comets). Some were really, really pasted up when we got them home. Happy to report everyone is clean and thriving!

VC along with molasses is wonderful, I also use plain unsweetened mixed in with their food in a separate container for the probiotics 2times a week.

i bought some avc yesterday an i mixed that wit teramiasine an put 10 ml of acvan2 pinches of teramiasine ...an i rubbed sum vasoline around there butts an they seem to be doing alot better...

I just had a chick with pasty butt and I used vaseline after I cleaned her butt really well. I used warm water and q-tips to moisten the stuck poo, then applied vaseline with a q-tip! I've been doing this for 2-3 days and she's 100% better! Good luck with your baby!
