Pooping on the porch!!!

Since my flock has grown to 18 and a goat has been added, I'm OVER the poop on the porch! This weekend I will be putting up electric fence wire around the porch, just to get a break from poop removal duty. But I love your pictures!

Ahhh yes, the ol' 'I'm coming inside to eat everything' trick! My lovin' wife started that "ahh honey, they are coming to the door" thing a month ago. Now, when the door is open, the leader of the pack will come inside and eat the dog food, then hope up on the counter looking for treats! She wore out out open can of pumkin, tomotoes and beans. I swear she has some bottled up Roo or something because she rules the place and is into everything business... So we named her Queen Bee, a barred rock.

PS: Ignore the broken shade in the door, I'll take the blame for it being broke since I opened it to quickly and broke the strings. It has been replaced since this picture.

aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww they are so CUTE!!!!!!! you gotta laugh when you turn aruond and see them on the counter (as long as no food is on it and i have 409 left in the bottle to clean up after them!).


Chookiemomma, that is so darn funny. I bet your cat just looks at them with her ears back, flattened down, and just throws a FIT!. poor baby. next time, just put her (cat) outside in the coop and bring the babes (chix) inside!

or help them get to know each other. they might like each other!

So i finally took a pic of 3 of my 16 spoiled chickens coming to the door for their snacks!! We just had a rain storm, so the other 13 prefer worms!! My poor polish "Billy" always has bad hair days when it rains.
