you need to fil that jar with the solution, having the air in there like that is not good.
Think Botulism . . .

You want the eggs completely covered.
At least thats what Ive read EVERYWHERE . . .

ok i will fill it completly im just going to leave them in there for three days though its not actually canned

Thats why it needs to be full!
I dunno if 3 days is long enough either, not to say you couldnt eat them, but you wouldnt be getting the full effect I think.

Just make sure its always refrigerated!

My Dh and I used to use the ready made stuff to make dill pickles to make pickled eggs. But we boiled and peeled the eggs then heated up the ingredients and poured it over the eggs in a gallon pickle jar. Put in some jalapenos or serranos, place it in the fridge for about 10 days....They were sooooo goood! Great with a cold beer.

I made one batch of a dozen eggs, they were pickled in some homemade vinegar that a friend gave us along with some salt and cayenne pepper.. They were gross, it tasted like straight up ACV.. Not what you want when you bite into an egg..

But I took some valasic pickle juice from sandwich slices and mixed in a couple tea spoons of hebanero sauce then heated it.. I put a dozen eggs in this kind of jar

I filled it to the rim with the juice and hot sauce.. It has only been in the fridge for 2 days.. But OH MY GOSH! They are the best thing EVER! And the eggs are kinda creamy, almost like mozzarella balls or something.. I could easily eat two dozen if I had them

My husband puts eggs in pickle juice once in a while, or he buys a jar of pickled egg at the Polish store and keeps putting more eggs in there. I think it's gross, but he loves them.

But pickled beets? I'll eat those any day. Yum!!!

Well put some hard boiled eggs in your pickled beets and let them sit for a week or two.
Then you can enjoy both beets and eggs. Good Stuff.
