What are the temps where you are?and maybe if they do get chilled it will give them a reason to snuggle under her. She doesn't mind them being in her space?

No, she seemed to like having them there. The temps aren't getting too cold. I am getting some hatchlings in a couple of days so I decided I will wait and put them with her.

She is a horrible broody! About a week ago I put 5 more eggs under her from a friend that were due to hatch in a week. Today I found another dead duckling outside of the brood house. I'm going to take the rest of the eggs from her tonight. Is it likely that she is purposely killing the babies?
