Poorly hen will be put down if she doesn't recover before next Saturday :( PLEASE HELP

Thank you for your condolences cluckcluck, but I am reluctant to put her down as my other remaining hen will be alone, and she doesn't seem to be in discomfort, just tired

Oh, poor hen! I'm not sure what is wrong with her, but my best suggestion would be to isolate her in a warm place, after giving her a nice warm bath in a steamy room. Feed/water her periodically, and make sure she's on flat ground.
The bath will help loosen any egg inside her. Your biggest problem now is stress, probably, so make sure it's nice and quiet. Keep us posted...I hope she feels better!

go to tractor supply and get the smallest bottle of bovidr labd poultry nutri-drench. Give her a couple of drops only by mouth. repeat every 8-10 hours until you see perkiness. It will jumpstart her G.I. tract and help restore her immune system. It mainlines directly into the bloodstream so she doesn't need to digest it. http://www.nutridrench.com Once you get some energy into ehr you can start finding out all that is wrong. top

For mites, i know you probably do not want to do this, but I read that you hold the hen upside down by her legs. I REALLY hope she gets better!
