Poorly hen will be put down if she doesn't recover before next Saturday :( PLEASE HELP

She is more tired again now but at least she made steps.
I will do the vaseline thing, thank you for the idea - we were wondering what to do about them!

She is always more tired in the mornings and afternoons, she perks up in the evenings.

If I cant get the chicken meds, what is the next best thing to feed her to perk her up?

I'm sorry she is not doing well.

You can try wetting her feed and giving her a little yogurt, egg, fish or meat.

It sound like she may have an internal laying/reproductive disorder. With her age, this may be the case. Treating the lice/mites will give her some relief though. Try to make her as comfortable as you can.

She doesn't seem to want any food, also she now has a lump, and is moving her head weirdly to try and dislodge it. We have been massaging it with no luck

Sadly Feather (the ill chicken) passed away during the night. She had a dark secrection in her eyes.

She will be sorely missed, and I hope she has gone to a better place.

Any suggestions how to get mites off the eyelids and face?
I don't think we should use powder there.

You can use a little powder on the face.
