Porcelain Pyncheon PICS

Pretty birds, Jody! I just love the Porcelain color....I have Porcelain D'uccles in the bator, about 9 days from hatching.
Didn't Nathaniel Hawthorne write a book that mentioned little chickens and they were named after the character in the book, Miss Pyncheon? The breed was developed based on his description of the birds in the book? Been a long day...can't remember which book right now...

Thanks everyone. I will keep you posted on eggs. I know we want to hatch some of our own first, but I'm sure we'll have some available in spring/summer for others.
