Take 4 large caps and scrape out dark gills, cut into 4 long strips 2 Eggs, beaten with water or a little milk salt and pepper to taste flour of your choice, I use Gluten free, roughly one cup. Season flour with garlic and onion powder if you want, about a half tsp each oil Dip strips of mushrooms into flour, then egg, then flour again. Place into skillet with a little oil. Brown on each side then place pan into oven and bake at 375 or so for about 10 mins until golden. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if you want as you take them from the oven. Serves 4 unless you are my sons, then it serves 2.
