Poor guy, he looks like he's tired of fighting, doesn't he? Such a beautiful guy. I'm so sorry you are facing this but I'm glad he's got you to face it with him.

He does, but he won't quit just yet. I've told him it's ok to go if he wants to, and that it's ok to stay too....

Take comfort in knowing that you have given him a wonderful six years, and he has given you the trust and love of a faithful friend, and a lifetime of beautiful memories to reflect on.

Lord lay your healing hands on Willow. Praying for peace and no pain. Lord also I thank you for the wonderful years wolfwoman has had with this beautiful creature you blessed her with. I ask that you envelope their hearts, bodies and souls with your love and understanding, as they hold dear all the wonderful memories of Willow. May he run the snowy fields of Heaven and his howl be heard on the wind. May the warmth of his love be remembered by every roaring fire in his beloved home.

And so Willow goes onto a new place. A place where he can run and jump as hard and as fast as he wants with no worries of his health. A place where it never rains, but there's always rainbows. A place with his friends Buck, Ladie and Lance and his Dad, Dakota. A place where he will wait for us and the rest of his siblings. Run free my Happy Puppy Willow... run free and wait for me. I am so sorry you had to lose your dear boy. He is happy, loved, and waiting on the rest of you to join him. Willow sure was a gorgeous guy, and obviously he will be loved and missed greatly by you and your family.
