I have a young cockerel, about 3 months old. Yesterday I noticed he started laying down a good bit and not being his normal, active self. It’s been unbearably hot in Florida, so I figured it was the heat. Then as I was getting them in the coop, I noticed he was limping. Today is the same, a limp and low activity. They are pretty wild, so it’s hard for me to get a good pic. I’m posting what I could get. One foot is slightly swollen, but just a little. It is swollen and bumpy all over and not just in one spot. I can’t see a wound, but he’s so wild it’s hard to get a good look. This is my first time with chickens and I have zero experience. TIA for any help in this matter.
