Hello.
I need help with one of my ducks. She has a hard spot, slightly swollen at the base of her foot. It does have a black scab. However, it is not the ‘classic’ shape. I just discovered the problem a few days ago. She does not limp, the spot is not hot or warm, and she is very active.
It’s sort of one side of the base, if that makes sense. Not the average center of the pad.
I would love any advice. I am giving her Hepar Sulph, Arnica, Silicea, and pyrogenium homeopathics. I am also soaking her foot in Epsom salt.

Welcome to BYC! Could you please attach photos of her foot so we can better determine how to help her. You can do this by clicking the “Attach files” button that should be at the bottom of the text box!

Sorry for the delay. It’s the bottom scab at the base of the foot that I’m worried about.
It’s also kind of on the side, not on the base itself.

It may not be too visible, since all of her flipper is black, but it is larger than her other foot pad, and that part close to the scab is hard.

Hello everyone. I wanted to update on the Bumblefoot.
The scab has started getting smaller last week, and a few days ago it completely disappeared.
A few days before that happened, a cream colored…something…started to appear underneath the scab.
Now it’s starting to show even more, and my guess is that the plug is starting to emerge by itself.
It does not feel like a scab.
I would love y’all opinions on this, because I don’t have much experience with bumblefoot.
Thanks to everyone for the previous advice.

Welcome To BYC

It does look like Bumblefoot. Since it's not bothering her, then I'd take the route you are taking with soaking and application of ointment(s), to see if it will heal without having to cut into the foot.
