Possible Coccidiosis In Week Old Silkies!

Oh sorry, I mean .05 and .06 pounds. Mum and I have decided to go to a different vet (The same company just a different clinic that's closer) and ask why the other one sold us wormer. I'm hoping to get some treatment there but if not I honestly don't know what I'll do. These chicks have already costed more then we paid for them. This is becoming ridiculous.
Maybe you should collect some fresh poop and bring it with you to the vet so they can test it for coccidiosis while you are there.

When you started this thread you said the chicks were 1 week old? Now they are 12 or 13 days old? If so, they are 23 grams (0.05 pounds) and 27 grams (0.06 pounds), which I think might be underweight for silkies this age.

Maybe. I'm sorry but the vet emailed me to say that their weights were actually.
0.09 pounds for my partridge chick.
0.06 for my three days younger white chick.
I'm getting baycox from the vet today.
I can't see why the chicks would be underweight, but I suppose it is possible. I'm feeding them on medicated starter feed only, as I don't have any grit to help them digest anything else. I'm pretty sure baycox will work, but can I get a second on that?

If they have coccidiosis it can mess with their insides and not allow them to absorb their food nutrients properly.

Well the saga continues. Earlier (Before we left) my Mum rang the vet and asked them if we could pick up some baycox from the clinic close to my siblings Scouts club. The vet said that they could and that they could dispense a little bit of Baycox. They said that that would be fine and that they had some at the clinic.

So we drove to the clinic and it turns out they only had cattle Baycox, and the head vet Angus said that it would be too risky to give that too the chicks. So it turns out that the other clinic, the one I that gave me the wormer actually had chicken baycox all along. So the clinic that's close to the scouts club are going to get the chicken Baycox delivered to them tommorow. So with any luck by tommorow afternoon I'm going to have the Baycox.

Confused? I sure am. This is really really frustrating....

@casportpony I'm sorry if I seemed rude I'm really stressed out at the moment , I am honestly unsure of the chicks exact age as the breeder didn't tell me, however I guessed. I honestly really appreciate everyone's help, and I really didn't mean to sound so rude...

Okay, Baycox is pretty much liquid gold($6.58 for a ml) I added 0.04 ml to 400ml of water as the vet instructed, I'm hoping my babies will get better soon. I read that garlic, cinnamon and oregano can help. Is this true? Thanks for all the help, hoping this will make my babies better.
