Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Guineas sound too funny. Can't wait for their laying season. I plan on buying a few.

guineas are funn. they are also very loud and stubborn. they are little clowns, the male is the funniest. when he wants to protest he will drop his wings sideways and stomp towards what ever he is after. they have no defence though. no spurs. but boy can they fly

Haha, sounds like my little bantam roo. He has little nubs for spurs, but he thinks he's the big man in the barnyard. He got a good tear on his comb after he went after my big marans roo. He learned to get along with him after that.

i guess thats why the call people cocky. lol

Yes, all my chickens are in one coop, plus three rabbits. I had four ducks up until a few months ago. They had to go, though. Apparently ducks aren't allowed where we're zoned. I don't see why they'd allow chickens and not ducks, though. They don't allow any waterfowl of any kind.

that is odd. i used to keep the guineas in with the bantams but they started getting a little mean to them come breeding time so i got them their own coop of course i ended up adding a couple big chickens with them.lol

Haha. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my buttons when they get here. I have a little bantam coop that never gets used because the bantams insist that they're actually big chickens. They won't sleep if they can't roost with the big ones. I thought about letting them use that... but they're even tinier than I thought! I could keep them in a songbird cage!
