Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Hi,

Those definitely aren't quail eggs. They're way too big!

But the colours are similar-ish.

I got this image off google images:

From left to right: Quail, Silkie, Guinea, Chicken, and Turkey eggs.

I have no idea what that "quail egg" could be. :)

Seriously? I'm getting way too many different opinions on BYC and out here in my town! At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if they were dinosaur eggs! I'll just have to incubate them and hope for the best.

I'm interested in seeing what comes out of those eggs.
Keep us updated on the incubation and hatches!

EDIT:
I did a bit of googling and now I'm guessing that these eggs are chuckar partridge!
The eggs are described as

(It has a picture of a chukar and eggs, plus some information)

They're similar to quail, although I'm not sure they're related.
Apparently its better to keep them in pairs as they get very aggressive towards other birds and each other.

We came to the same conclusion then! I popped them in the bator yesterday, and have everything set to hatch them.

I'll keep you updated!

Good luck and let us know what happens! I was thinking that they might be some new world quail eggs, but have you looked at other partridges' eggs? I'm not sure how many types there are.
