We came to the same conclusion then! I popped them in the bator yesterday, and have everything set to hatch them.I'm interested in seeing what comes out of those eggs.

I did a bit of googling and now I'm guessing that these eggs are chuckar partridge!
The eggs are described as

They're similar to quail, although I'm not sure they're related.
Apparently its better to keep them in pairs as they get very aggressive towards other birds and each other.
if a quail put those out she is most likely walking funny today.
