Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Well, I solved my turning problem. My dad's a paramedic so I borrowed some of his waterproof medical tape. It's nontoxic, and only sticks to itself. I wrapped the bottom of my turner with it, so now the quail can be turned every hour without the temp./humidity getting disturbed. Plus, they look really cute in what looks like their own little cradle.

I also popped the morpington and marans eggs in there. I float tested them, and they all sank, but I'm staying optimistic!

Granny, this is the type of turner I have. It's made specifically for the Little Giant incubator, so I'm not sure if it's the same as yours.

It turns my eggs 30 degrees every hour, and it comes apart for cleaning. It's really handy for when I'm away at school.

The motor of the turner adds a bit of heat to the incubator. It's always best to put the turner in and let the incubator sit for at least a day before you put the eggs in. When I got my first turner, I accidentally cooked my first eggs.

My tiny incubator kinda rolls the eggs. It has a tray with adjustable rails. Which is great cos those eggs are dinky!
When my quail hatch this time Im going to get some orpington eggs! Found someone up the road who has them... 5 minutes up the road... No postage! Yippee! And maybe bantams too!

I was so excited, too. It was turning very dark, so there was definitely a chick in there. I feel horrible. I've never cracked an egg before, let alone my special little ones. My sleeve got caught on the edge of the turner's motor, and when I pulled away, the egg tapped the side of the incubator. It certainly didn't take much to crack the poor little thing. Now I'm down to 13, which is a number I don't like.
