you can see some of them at the back of the box... not even 4 weeks old.

Teradragon, you have such a cute little setup! Can I ask what kind of tortoises you have? I used to have an eastern box turtle. She was so sweet.

oh, you guys are killing me ! they are beautiful little things. i was talking to my mother about the possibility of raising some. she says they have to keep their feet off the ground. is this right? i mentioned eating them but after seeing these pics. theres no way that would happen.

I mentioned eating any excess males to my mom. But now that I think about it, I don't think I could do it.

Lol, probably not. I bet I could make some money selling them as cute, little pets. Yuppies love "exotic" animals, and there are tons of them in VA.

hahahha, bet you could too. i seen a man at a flee market trying to sell dehydrated chicken feet !!! GROSS. so i had to tell him a story, when my mother left home to marry, it was custom for mother to cook dinner for them both.after the wedding they sat to eat and my grandmother placed a chicken foot in each of their plates and told them to go scratch for themselves.

my mother did cook for my husband and myself at my wedding too, chicken again and no, no feet to be found thank goodness.i wanted to do this for my own daughter when she married but she eloped. that was a throw the frozen chicken at his head kinda moment.hehehe

no competition here on our hatch cheyen, i messed up.my memory and my new turner was my undoing. i put the thermometer on the floor as always and the eggs were much higher this time. i have cooked them all. this is my 3rd bad hatch. i think its time to call it quits and just enjoy yours.

Aw, granny that's awful.

I'm a bit suspicious of my thermometer at the moment. It keeps reading 99, but I think it's broken.
