Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

If it makes you feel any better, I incubated 13 quail eggs last month for the first time ever. I hand turned them 3 times a day and I had 10 hatch all together, was awesome! So I'm sure you'll be fine. The eggs look very pretty. Wonder what colour the chicks will be?

I don't think I'll get anything that vivid. The breeder I got the eggs from has mostly "pastel" birds. Here's some pictures from her website:

I really like the chocolate one. If the pic your posted is the button quail's natural color, I think she's bred it out for these colors. It'll be really cool if I get one like that, though.

That picture I posted is of a chinese painted quail. I don't think colours like that come up very often!

I like all those bird colours, though, to be fair, I just love birds regardless!

Chinese painted is the same as button. I think. She has it listed as both on her website. They're just as beautiful as their eggs! I can't wait to see what I get.

Not having room for quail is a funny thought, considering how tiny they are. I can't help but imagine you with rooms filled with the little things, lol. I'll be keeping mine in a glass terrarium until late spring. Then the cute little buggars can have their own little coop and run.

If I lived alone and didn't have a husband, I'm sure I'd have room fulls!

This is my quail box. The box underneath has my tortoise. It takes up a lot of space in the livingroom!

I can't really keep birds outside because we have problems with rats here and I'm not even sure keeping poultry is allowed! I'd love to convert my spare room into a quail room, but we have people who sleep over, so can't really subject them to that

My quail lay heavily patterned eggs, but its inside when you peel them thats so surprising, its that Gorgeous blue.
