Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

I don't think guinea. It was at a farmer's market meant for eating. Which makes you think partridge or quail. I've never heard of guinea eggs being a popular item to eat.
And the eggs don't look right :p

I guess we'll know soon, even before they hatch. If nothing comes out on the 19th or 20th, you'll have to give em another week!
Although given the different sizes wouldn't it be a hoot if you had both!!

this is allmost as good as walking the hallway when my grandkids were coming.hahah. if it doesnt pip you know u gonna have to open it just to see what it was! now heres the good part, what is a chukar and what are they good for? i know quail u can eat, is it in that family? and for the really dumb question, do i have to go back to forum and ive posted every time to see if u responded to my post? ya, im a granny.lol

Chukars are partridge (related to pheasant). They grow about to the size of a small bantam.
What are they good for hmmm.. they're cute? They are a game bird so I suppose they can be dinner too.

I'm not sure how to set up alerts, but I get an email when someone replies to a thread I'm subscribed to.
