Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

so the eggs were duds then ??? Will you do a post mortume on them??? I would relly like to get some hunnigarian partridge/ grey partridge to raise and release out around where I live but ordering live chicks doesn't seem to be an option might have to bite the bullet and try incubating some.

Yup, looks like I screwed up with the temperatures. I'll try again later, I guess. I'll crack them open tomorrow to see what happened. I've never cracked open a dud before. Does it smell?? I think I ought to do it outside, lol.

cheyan, i have opened a lot of eggs and one time it popped loudly. bout peed myself. i dont think they stink but they can. i use a sharp screw to pip in the air sac, then make it bigger so i can see the chick how far along it was, ect.... but if they are still just egg you will have to pour it on a paper plate or such to see if it was fertile. since i moved my bator back it has held steady .

Don't worry, guys! Three weeks isn't too long of a wait to hatch some more. At least not to me, lol. I'll get some more, don't worry.

Well, the eggs were definitely fertile. And I definitely cooked them. I don't think I've ever failed at hatching this bad before. A few of them were even a bit stiff like they had been cooked over medium.
