Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

cheyan, thats the same thing i just did with my last batch. remember i put the thermometer on the floor instead of the eggs ? i bought a new one just in case and this batch is 30 out of 37 with 6 not fertile and one blood ring. i cooked mine. i am glad they were fertile though. how long does it take to get more eggs ?? maybe you would just leave the bator running since its at the right temp. now.

trying to figure out if i can put them out in this temp or bring the brooders in. OR, i have a couple fish tanks i could bring in but no top and i think they may get to hot in them

Well, ideally I would order the eggs this weekend, they would ship out on monday, and I would get them around wednesday at the latest. I'm doing chores for money this weekend, but that doesn't mean I'll get my eggs by monday. We'll have to see.

Haha, I'm sure you've got great responsibility. I bet a responsible person wouldn't let their babies cook for two days straight, lol.

ooooh these quailies are getting a bit smelly now. Woke to one doing its little crow this morning. That was funny. 6 and a half weeks old, will be halving the numbers in a few weeks :-/

Hahahaha I love that crow, its a crack up. My japanese quail started laying at 5 weeks, great producers.
I did tiny homemade slider burgers the other night with quail eggs in them. Very cool, and yummy.

That actually sounds really good. Don't make me hungry, I need to wait three hours until lunch!
