Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

mmm, love hambugers. didnt think of egg on top. got eggs all over the place. i want to try twisted acres recipe for bread pudding but havent been feeling well my bator eggs are on day15. starting to make some heat in there so i took the other plug out.

I think the one down side to having chickens is wondering what to do with all the eggs. You don't have enough of them to sell, and you have too much to eat on your own. Your friends and family won't take any because they think fertile eggs are icky to eat, lol. You have to keep your recipe book full so you don't get sick of them!

I know... three hens and the fridge is overflowing. Baking ahoy!

i take the tiny ones and cracked ones down over the hill and feed the crows and whatever might be hungry.my mother hates crows, i think they are pretty cool. i have been outside for a bit trying to get the frozen gravel out of my fish tank so i can wash it up and i cant do it. i cant carry it with gravel in it too heavy. i put a light in there and hope it melts enough to carry it out. if i get it in my built in shelf it will be nice. can sit and watch all the antics.

Hahahaha I love that crow, its a crack up. My japanese quail started laying at 5 weeks, great producers.
I did tiny homemade slider burgers the other night with quail eggs in them. Very cool, and yummy.

yummy burgers! Well the guy who sold me the eggs said his start laying at 5 weeks. I must be doing something wrong... they might be stressed because they are in close quarters... 3ft x 2ft and there are 8 of them...

Got 14 hours of light and it is warm in my house. I guess they will lay when they are ready!

Just a quick hi guys!! I'll be running around bugging you in no time!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to see you again!!! welcome back!!

say granny do you have a propane torch like plumbers use?? You could crank that puppy on and melt everything in your aquarium in short order. They also work as a cigarette lighter in a pinch just keep your hair up and out of the way. OR don't and have a really wild hair day/doo.

p.s. I don't recommend them for singeing or burning of loose threads off clothing.
