I am sure the stress is on! Keep breathing and do your best to relax. We are all behind you and this hatch. Something just HAS to come out of those eggs!!!!

what was that crap they used to give woman when they were in labor to knock them out ?? ether? yes, ether, i need some of that. think i will go find one of my little green pills, they work pretty good. we are to have an ice storm now. i am going to find that groundhog and kick his little fuzzy butt all the way to china. if i lose elect. tomorrow every one in the house will have to stick eggs somewhere to keep them warm and right now i really dont care where they stick them. i have been listening to the babies chirping about all day but they are shy. they dont want to come out and play.they are waiting for the ice tomorrow. i only have one small brooder in the house the others are in the barn so i can slide them in when the ice comes.

glad you eggs are finally "doing something" I thought when you said you heard something it was just your joints creaking as you got out of bed. LOL My knee's creak/crack/ and pop if I spend to my time on them. Planting garden and hand weeding rows must be done in stages and attending mass/adoration can be a challenge sometimes. But, this is only occasionaly and better then any other options. GOOD LUCK witht the chicks. Do you have a gas or electric oven? IF gas maybe test the temp in there with just the pilot light running might be warm enough and a back-up option.

lol, joints are popping too. i havent been this tired in a long time. talk about a mess, the weather let me pick up dog poo for the first time in a month. OMG, i havent felt right since. i think theres about 10 or more piped but just.

ohh, my home is all elect. except for the fire place and the wood is in the back 40. hahah you reminded me when you talked about mass, when i got married the first time. big church wedding everything was beautiful but when i looked back at pictures, the new groom was kneeling at the alter and there was an x on the bottom of his shoe. which meant only one thing. he had bought them at the junk store. hahahha

Hmm yesterday was 28 in the house, today 25 ...lots o wind the wairarapa blast furnace..
So thats 82 'to 75... hotter outside though.

We've been pretty lucky here in the UK. Just rained.... Which is bad for people who live in flood risk areas, but fine for me. I live on a hill! Only had a couple of frosts. The wind won't let anything freeze :P
