Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

i have lost about 6 chickens in the past couple days. i am not going to incubate any more for a long time. i am chicken poor now anyway but, i lost the white sumatra hen. still have the roo, no idea what is going on but i suspect weather plats a roll.

I hate losing one of a mating pair. Especially if it's a hen! I wouldn't want to keep around an extra roo, but at least sumatras are pretty.

why dont you ask your mom if she thinks temps going from 70s to 30s at night would kill off my chickens? adolescents and month olds. fully feathered about 3 months i guess. no symptoms

30 degrees is nothing to a chicken unless they're sick or something. If you're worried, though, I would bring the youngest ones inside.

I doubt it's the weather. Chickens are very cold hardy. Where are you keeping their feed? If moisture is getting to it, maybe it's growing some mildew or mold or something. If they aren't showing any symptoms, I'm stumped.
