Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Cheyen I always have a "favorite egg" In every batch thus far. I would love to see your single egg incubator if you make it! I often find myself wondering if I could keep it warm enough in my pocket lol And Granny you are never a party pooper! Your comments have brought a smile to my face more times than I can count lol's all the time! I am very sorry to read about your mothers passing, my sympathies

Good almost afternoon! It is sunny and warm for Massachusetts today. I had my coffee outside early and didn't need a north face! I watched the "quail bachelor pad" for entertainment.....meal worms are like manna from heaven to them lol

But I couldn't stop thinking I should get ducks lol what early morning entertainment they would be! I was thinking a pair of khaki Campbell's the hubbo will have a bird lol of course but he'll get on board eventually ;-)

How's the weather your way? Any new babies. I have 12 quail eggs in the incubator now, but visions of ducklings are dancing in my head :D

I just hatched two ducklings (maybe three we'll see if the last one makes it.) And let me tell ya...I LOVE them already. Imprinting is strong in these guys lol. Gonna try to get some pictures for everyone :)

I saw on a blog about how putting herbs in nest boxes can stimulate laying and keep parasites/bugs away from the nest, so i tried some. But the girls just picked them out and ate them.

What did you use Cheyen? I've heard lavender is good for keeping pest away. I mix DE into the bird's sand baths but I like the idea of natural greens!

That is a great idea Granny! I love to watch mine dart around, hiding places, bamboo would make it aesthetically please too!
