Hi All!

Felix looks great Cheyen!!!
My sisters took all the ones I hatched this year, but I have some albino eggs on the way. Hoping to keep a couple of those!!
After the sister raids, I'm down to 2 rg pheasants, 2 Melanistic and two Cayuga ducklings
Oh and two Royal Palm turkey babies....but I didn't hatch them. Bought them from local feed store

Have frizzles due around the 18th and then a bunch of other stuff!!

Lol I don't know. It's a greenish blueish pheasant. Somewhat like a ringneck, but prettier. I hear they can be kinda....moody..(was trying to think of an appropriate word that wasn't a cuss word)

did i ever find out what melanistic is????

melanistic means they have a genetic coding that gives them more of the dark/black/iridescent pigment. Amelanistic means completely lacking black pigment and this is how you get red eyed albinos.

I use fermented feed. It makes a HUGE difference in the babies.
